Canadian Investment Consultants (888) / Canadians Resident Abroad Inc. came into being in the late 1980’s as organizations that were for the first time dedicated to providing financial planning and investment management services to Canadian expatriates working worldwide. These organizations were the brainchild of Robert W. McRae (also the founder / chairman of some of the largest financial institutions in Canada - notably Universal Group of Funds, MRS Trust Company and CI Group of Funds) and Andrew W.S. Donald, a gifted financial advisor who made the growth and development of these firms his life’s calling. The success that we enjoy today is a tribute to the foresight and vision of these two gentlemen, both of whom passed away in 2004.

In early 2003, the ownership of these firms passed into the hands of Keybase Financial Group under the stewardship of its owner and president, Dax Sukhraj. Keybase is committed to continuing this tradition of serving the very unique needs of expatriates worldwide.
